Job Description (English follows Japanese) Japanese 業務概要 衛星運用システムと連携して機能する衛星画像のWebシステム「AxelGlobe」のシステム開発において、以下の役割を担っていただきます。 ソフトウェア及び関連する社内外のシステム仕様を理解し、ビジネス要件や非機能要件を満たすアーキテクチャの設計及び実装をする アーキテクチャの前提要件、とりうる選択肢とトレードオフ、選定理由をステークホルダーに説明し、合意形成を推進する。 システムにおける「オブザーバビリティ」と「レジリエンス」の実現 社内外のステークホルダーとの円滑な折衝・調整の実行、及びチームの能力を引き上げる 必要なスキル・経験 Webアプリケーションにおけるアーキテクチャ設計の経験 Python3とPython Webアプリケーションフレームワークを用いた開発・運用経験（3年以上または同程度の経験） プロダクト/コード品質保証やパフォーマンス改善などのアプリケーション運用を開発チームとして取り組み、それを主導した経験 （テックリード、エンジニアリングマネージャーなど） PostgreSQLやそれに相当するOpen sourceのRDBMSを用いたデータベース設計経験 ビジネスレベル以上の日本語コミュニケーション能力 （日本語の仕様書を読むことができ、クライアントへ日本語でスムーズに説明ができるレベル） 歓迎スキル・経験 GraphQL、OpenAPI Specといったスキーマ駆動API設計・実装経験 コンテナ・サーバレス技術を使った開発経験 データベースのパフォーマンスチューニング経験 AWS SNS/SQSを使った分散システムの設計・実装経験 エンジニアリングマネジメントの経験を持つ方、もしくは将来的に同役割に興味がある方 日常会話以上の英語コミュニケーション能力 English Responsibilities Contribute to the development of “AxelGlobe,” a web platform for satellite imagery that integrates tightly with our satellite operations (mission) systems. - Understand software and related internal/external system specifications, and design and implement architectures that meet business and non-functional requirements. - Explain architectural assumptions, options and trade-offs, and selection rationale to stakeholders, driving alignment and decisions. - Ensure system observability and resilience end-to-end. - Work smoothly with internal and external stakeholders and help elevate the capabilities of the team. Minimum Qualifications Experience designing architecture for web applications. 3+ years (or equivalent experience) developing and operating with Python 3 and a Python web application framework. Proven track record leading application operations such as product/code quality assurance and performance optimization as part of a development team. (e.g., as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager) Database schema/design experience with PostgreSQL or an equivalent open-source RDBMS. Business-level Japanese communication skills. (able to read Japanese specifications and explain solutions smoothly to clients in Japanese) Preferred Qualifications Schema-first API design and implementation experience (e.g., GraphQL, OpenAPI Specification). Experience developing with containers and serverless technologies. Hands-on database performance tuning experience. Design and implementation of distributed systems using AWS SNS/SQS. Experience in engineering management, or interest in stepping into that role in the future. Conversational-level English communication skills or higher.
