About the Graduate Experts Program The Graduate Experts program is part of SUEZ’s expert development plan and aims to strengthen the Group’s technical expertise to meet growing client expectations for strong fundamental technical skills and to address complex environmental challenges, both in the fields of water and waste management. It represents the 4th pillar, “Transmission,” of the Expert policy. The program is designed to build and reinforce SUEZ’s future pool of experts by attracting, developing, and retaining motivated and promising graduates from all over the world. Since 2020, around 15 young talents are selected each year to join this global initiative on strategic projects. Through this program, participants benefit from the transfer of SUEZ technical skills and know-how in a structured development environment. The program is managed by the Innovation Department in partnership with the Human Resources teams of the Business Units. Position Summary SUEZ is recruiting a Graduate Expert Engineer (GEE) to support the development of its anaerobic digestion activities in Central Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to build technical and operational expertise in anaerobic digestion through an international development path, beginning in the Czech Republic and continuing in Poland. During the first year, the GEE will be based in Benešov at APBB, the only waste anaerobic digestion facility on the Czech market, and in Prague at the SUEZ’s office, in order to develop strong expertise in anaerobic digestion operations and project delivery. During the second year, the role will move to Poland, primarily to ARA in Legnica, where the candidate will contribute to the implementation and optimization of anaerobic digestion solutions in a growing market. This position is intended for a high-potential graduate who is motivated to develop into a future SUEZ technical expert in anaerobic digestion, combining operational exposure, engineering support, innovation, and cross-country collaboration. Key Responsibilities In Czech Republic Develop practical and technical expertise in anaerobic digestion operations through on-site exposure at APBB in Benešov. Support the strengthening of local technical expertise and management capabilities in line with SUEZ’s Waste-to-Energy development ambitions. Contribute to the preparation and execution of key development projects around the Czech Republic. Work closely with internal stakeholders and technical specialists to support engineering, development, and project delivery activities. Participate in the transfer of know-how from external experts and partners, while helping to build in-house expertise in cooperation with SUEZ departments such as Engineering Construction and the Innovation Center. Develop into a Czech-speaking technical resource capable of supporting local operations and project execution. In Poland Support the development of SUEZ’s anaerobic digestion activities at ARA in Legnica and in future Polish projects. Contribute to the implementation of the innovative solutions developed by SUEZ for anaerobic digestion facilities, including BioWad. Support process adaptation and optimization activities. Help define and implement technical performance improvement action plans in collaboration with other Suez entities experts. Identify and characterize feedstock to support process efficiency and stability. Contribute to process performance monitoring and operational excellence initiatives. Support the potential retrofit of existing operational assets and the development of future anaerobic digestion facilities in Poland. Why Join SUEZ?
