The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operational leader with a track record in the railway industry. Accountabilities Strategic Leadership : Define and implement the long-term strategic and operational direction of the supply chain, including flow, stock, and procurement planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and logistics processes. Monitor procurement processes, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement and harmonization of practices. Participate in strategic supplier negotiations and the implementation or renewal of framework agreements. Operational Excellence : Oversee annual purchasing budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor procurement activities by product and service category. Coordinate and align supply chain activities with internal stakeholders (projects, sales, production, purchasing). Monitor the operational implementation of supply chain action plans and make necessary adjustments. Provide procurement expertise during tendering phases. Interface with the Finance dept. Interface and monitor the company's QHSE policy. Oversee facility management activities to ensure employee well-being and safety. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in supply chain management and procurement.
