Manufacturing Quality Improvement Specialist

About The Role
<1.You> will lead and execute quality improvement projects using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 8D problem-solving.
- You will analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, supply chain, and engineering to implement quality solutions and best practices.
- You will develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- You will conduct internal and external audits to assess process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- You will provide training and mentorship to junior quality professionals and manufacturing personnel on quality tools and techniques.
- You will monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress of improvement initiatives to management.
- You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the manufacturing operations.
- You will participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure quality requirements are met from design to production.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing quality improvement, quality engineering, or a similar role within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt certification preferred, Lean Manufacturing principles, SPC, FMEA, MSA, 8D).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem-solving initiatives and drive sustainable quality improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
