R&D Engineer - GIS GPS

About The Role

  1. You will work on global product technical support for worldwide technology centers and factories also collaborate with cross-functions including GPM, quality, operation, SCM…
  2. You will conduct HV switching and other quality case root cause analysis with solid electrical knowledge and HV switchgear product enhancements, upgrades and maintenance.
  3. You will develop HV switchgear products and solutions with high reliability and cost efficiency also create 3D models and 2D drawings proficiently for HV GIS components development.
  4. You will perform or check dielectric and mechanical calculation or simulation and work on the pressurized vessel simulation and design, work on gas tightness and sealing design.
  5. You will perform tolerance chain calculation and kinematic chain analysis also conduct design review, including DFMEA/DFM/DFA.
  6. You will prepare technical documentation for product (specs, instructions, manual, list of type test, comprehensive type test data, routine test instruction, etc.)
  7. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  9. You hold a master’s degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or other related majors.
  10. Solid electric knowledge in HV switchgear products including switching, dielectric etc. Experience in UHV GIS R&D is preferred.
  11. Self-motivated, innovative, structured and systematic thinking, good communication skills and team spirit.
  12. Strong result-driven, high quality and high-speed player.
  13. Good oral/writing English preferred.
  14. Good communication skills both local and global.
