How you'll make an impact
- You will drive cutting-edge research and development at the intersection of power electronics and artificial intelligence, with a focus on AI-enabled design, multi-objective optimization, modeling and simulation, and intelligent control.
- You will also explore emerging AI-driven methodologies to shape the next generation of power electronics technologies.
- You will collaborate and support all business units and ensure successful execution of research projects.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics, with research focus on the integration of power electronics and AI.
- Solid theoretical background in power electronics and AI algorithms, including machine learning, deep learning, multi-objective optimization, and intelligent control, with publication records in leading journals.
- Strong expertise in power electronics, including topology analysis and converter modeling and control, with familiarity in one or more of the following areas: HVDC/MVDC transmission, AC transmission systems, microgrids, renewable energy integration, and energy storage systems. Comprehensive knowledge of AI theoretical foundations and hands-on experience applying mainstream AI algorithms to power and energy applications.
- Proficient in simulation software, e.g., Matlab, Simulink, PSCAD, PLECS, etc. Proficient programming skills using Python or other programming languages.
- Excellent innovation capability and competence of application-oriented research, with the ability to work independently and solve critical technical challenges in R&D, self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn new technologies, team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to travel abroad, including short-term job rotation as required.
- Fluent English in both speaking and writing.
