About the Role We are looking for a Trading Platform Operations Strategist to transform our 24/7 trading operations from manual, experience-driven processes into an intelligent, automated operating model. As a senior individual contributor, you will own the design and implementation of automation initiatives, operational standards, and AI-driven operational capabilities that improve platform reliability, reduce operational risk, and enable scalable trading operations. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Trading, and Operations teams to drive operational excellence across our trading platform. Key Responsibilities Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks and improve the efficiency of 24/7 trading platform operations. Develop operational standards for permission management, configuration governance, automated validation (double-check mechanisms), and change management. Drive AI-powered operational improvements, including intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and automated operational workflows. Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Trading, and Operations teams to optimize operational processes, enhance platform stability, and minimize operational risk. Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, operational resilience, and system reliability through data analysis and process optimization. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in Trading Technology, Trading Operations, Platform Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Operations Engineering within fintech or financial services. Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions, operational tooling, or AIOps capabilities for large-scale, mission-critical production environments. Strong understanding of trading platform operations, configuration management, operational governance, and change control processes. Strong systems thinking with the ability to redesign operational workflows for automation, scalability, resilience, and operational excellence. Demonstrated success in applying AI technologies to operational automation, with proven outcomes such as reducing manual effort, improving operational efficiency, enhancing incident detection, or enabling intelligent decision-making. Candidates should be able to showcase measurable success stories or case studies from previous implementations. Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives without direct authority.
