About the Role As a Helios Digital Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our internal expense management platform (Helios), driving system development, integration, and finance process optimisation. You will work at the intersection of Finance and Technology, ensuring stable system operations while continuously improving workflows related to expense management, approvals, and payments. This role also involves close collaboration with Finance, HR, and business teams to integrate Helios with ERP systems, tax platforms, and internal tools, enabling scalable and efficient financial operations. Key Responsibilities System Development & Integration Design, develop, and enhance Helios platform functionalities, including expense policies, approval workflows, and API/mobile integrations. Build and maintain integrations between Helios and third-party systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite), tax/invoicing systems, and HR systems. Develop financial dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to improve cost visibility and decision-making. Continuously optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability to support business growth. System Operations & Stability Manage deployment, monitoring, and maintenance across testing and production environments to ensure high system availability. Monitor data synchronisation between Helios and accounting systems, troubleshooting API failures and resolving data inconsistencies. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all integrated platforms. Implement and maintain system security controls, including access management, audit logging, and data protection standards. Business Support & Process Automation Collaborate with Finance and business teams to optimise expense policies and approval workflows. Troubleshoot system issues and resolve defects identified in testing or live environments. Automate repetitive finance processes such as reconciliation and configuration through scripting or system tools. Drive continuous improvement in system usability and operational efficiency based on user feedback. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development (e.g., Java, Python, or similar). Strong SQL capabilities, including complex queries and performance optimisation. Solid understanding of data consistency, transactions, and system reliability. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with RESTful APIs and integration middleware (e.g., WebMethods, Dell Boomi). Hands-on experience integrating with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. Exposure to finance processes such as expense management, reconciliation, or travel & expense (T&E) workflows.
