What you´ll do Coordinate order consolidation, shipment completion, and required documentation to ensure on-time deliveries. Evaluate, verify, audit shipments, and assign correct carriers while maintaining shipment trackers. Work with carriers to ensure timely pickup, clear the dock daily, and communicate status updates as needed. Lead packing and loading activities to maximize labor efficiency and meet same-day shipment priorities. Train personnel on trailer loading and dock requirements; verify carrier driver credentials before release. Load, dispatch, and invoice shipments, including LTL processing by end of day. Delegate work, assign loaders, and maintain high accuracy and efficiency across all shipping operations. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required. The work environment is not climate controlled. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud. Regular attendance is required. Overtime may be required.
