Overview Registered Nurse – ICU in Sonora, California. This travel assignment starts on 08/17/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Shifts are nights, 3x12-hour periods (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Weekly pay ranges from $1,690 to $1,777 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. This permanent traveler position supports ICU patient care and requires coordination with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,690–$1,777 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) - Start date: 08/17/2026 - Facility/work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital ICU Responsibilities - Deliver direct nursing care to ICU patients according to the nursing process and established standards. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, adjusting interventions as patient conditions change. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and timely care plans. - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff; delegate appropriately. - Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care. - Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements - Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California). - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS). - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Experience: At least two years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience. - Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting and to fulfill a night-shift schedule; eligible for travel assignment.
