About The Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team delivering high-quality, person-centred end-of-life care. You’ll work closely with patients and their loved ones, supporting their physical, emotional, and practical needs as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

What we’re looking for:  

  • Experience in a health or social care setting, ideally with palliative or end-of-life care 
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) 
  • A kind, empathetic approach and excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to support personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort needs 
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including nights and weekends 
  • Commitment to upholding dignity, respect, and patient choice

  • Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band £26,696 - £28,988 pro rata (aligned with AFC)  + Island Allowance 
  • Contract: Permanent 22.5 hours per week
