Senior Field Property Adjuster

The Opportunity Reporting to the Team Leader, Field Property, you are accountable for the investigation and settlement of Personal property damage claims. What to Expect Accepting notice of claims and working with customers and preferred vendors to resolve claims quickly and efficiently Managing moderate to complex personal property claims Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of Definity claims policies Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems Processing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimants’ entitlements Initiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned files What you Bring Post-secondary education (degree or diploma), CIP designation (or in progress), or relevant property handling experience Minimum 8 years of property claims handling experience Experience scoping and estimating losses Familiarity with CICS, IMS, Xactimate and CDS system is an asset Proficient in MS Word and Excel Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers Perform well in a busy operation and remains calm under pressure Team player adaptable to a changing environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200
