Bull Housing Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily animal care activities to ensure optimal health, welfare, and facility standards Enforce animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety protocols across all operations Lead and support semen collection activities to maximize production and quality output Supervise, coach, and develop team members, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management Schedule and maintain appropriate staffing levels aligned to production needs Monitor animal health and coordinate with veterinarians on treatment and care plans Manage inventory of feed, bedding, and barn supplies while ensuring operational readiness Maintain facility conditions, equipment functionality, and a safe working environment QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience working with livestock; bovine AI industry experience preferred Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence performance outcomes Strong communication, accountability, and decision-making skills Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with large animals Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods Valid driver’s license required; CDL (Class A or B) preferred Self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional growth
