Securities Finance Developer (Vice President)

Job Description As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically strong developer to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building and maintaining our Global Securities Finance platform – benefiting front and middle office users in multiple time zones. Key Responsibilities Development of the core in-house platforms, both on-prem and cloud (AWS) Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish Working with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization Unit testing, assisting with user testing, and working closely with the support and release management team to provide robust and performant solutions Qualifications/ Experience Strong .NET skills, with server and ideally client-side experience Follows SOLID development principles, with experience of supportive frameworks/libraries Strong SQL knowledge, preferably MS SQL Server and/or MySQL Understanding of Securities Lending is desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area, e.g. Equity swaps Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality Additional Skills Able to deliver to tight deadlines Ability to work with colleagues around the world Excellent communication skills Experience in one or more of the following beneficial: Global One, RabbitMQ, BitBucket (Git), Bamboo, Java, Windows development #LI-JD1
