Data Center Design Manager (f/m/d)

About the Role As a Data Center Design Manager (f/m/d) , you will lead the planning and delivery of complex, mission-critical data center projects—from the concept phase through commissioning. Within the Design, Engineering & Construction organization, you will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensure compliance with global and regional design standards, and act as the central decision-making authority for all design-related matters. This role is aimed at technically proficient individuals who work independently, manage priorities confidently, and deliver high-quality, implementable solutions in a dynamic environment. Your Responsibilities Lead and manage external design and commissioning consultants Coordinate interdisciplinary design across all CSA and MEPH disciplines Ensure compliance with global and regional Design Engineering Guidelines Manage design schedules, budgets, change management, and deliverables Overall technical responsibility across design, construction, and commissioning Support construction execution by handling RFIs and technical clarifications Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, customers, and authorities Contribute to standardization, innovation, and continuous improvement of designs Your Profile Experience in the data center environment Completed degree in engineering (CSA/MEPH) or architecture, or a comparable qualification Strong skills in technical coordination and stakeholder management Confident communication skills to explain and defend technical decisions Structured, proactive way of working and resilience in a demanding project environment Very good English skills, written and spoken Our Benefits Open company culture with short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies Individual onboarding plan with buddy system and training opportunities Development opportunities in a fast-growing environment Comprehensive benefits (flexible working hours, digital meal vouchers, bike leasing, company pension plan, and more)
