Master Thesis Opportunity: PDN Extraction and Modeling for VRM Applications This thesis focuses on developing a complete workflow for Power Delivery Network (PDN) extraction and modeling in Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) applications. The goal is to connect PCB layout-based electromagnetic extraction with system-level simulation to improve power integrity analysis and reduce design iterations. The student will work with tools such as SIMPLIS, ANSYS Q3D, Cadence Sigrity, and MATLAB/Python to extract PDN models from PCB layouts, convert them into simulation-ready formats, integrate them with VRM models, and validate the results against lab measurements.
