About The Role

Citizens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Consultant to support the DER Group. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end marketing operations, including conference coordination, email campaigns, LinkedIn content, and post-deal marketing deliverables. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced advisory environment, partner closely with senior stakeholders (including Managing Directors), and ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely execution of all marketing initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Include Conference & Event Coordination Manage logistics for industry conferences and events, including registrations, hotel accommodations, meeting schedules, and client/prospect dinners. Serve as a central point of contact for conference-related activities and track industry events throughout the year. Email Marketing & Campaign Execution Coordinate and execute email campaigns (CMPs, Market Updates, Press Releases), including development of distribution lists, formatting, testing, and deployment. Partner with Managing Directors to ensure appropriate audience targeting and messaging. Perform quality control checks across devices, address feedback, and monitor post-send analytics and campaign performance. Digital & Social Media Content Translate marketing content into LinkedIn posts, including drafting concise and engaging copy (“blurbs”) aligned with brand standards. Coordinate approvals, publish content, and validate live posts for accuracy and formatting. Deal Marketing & Client Deliverables Partner with Managing Directors on the design, development, and distribution of deal-related materials such as Lucites (tombstones). Manage vendor coordination, proofing, approvals, and final delivery logistics, ensuring quality and timely completion. Marketing Operations & Content Management Support website updates, including posting press releases, market updates, biographies, and marketing materials. Coordinate internal communications and ensure alignment across marketing assets and channels. Budget & Planning Support Coordinate annual marketing and conference budget planning, including research, vendor outreach, and ongoing tracking of expenses and opportunities. Qualifications, Education, Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred 3–5+ years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or event management (in financial services or professional services preferred) Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact or similar) and campaign analytics Proficiency in LinkedIn and social media content management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and quality control Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and manage feedback cycles Experience coordinating external vendors and managing budgets is a plus Familiarity with compliance-driven environments is preferred #LI-Citizens1 Hours & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
