Senior Analyst - Parallon Accounting JOB INFORMATION Job Title Name Senior Analyst - Parallon Accounting Position Summary The individual hired for this role will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting transactions are processed efficiently and effectively, in accordance with established service levels and other contractual requirements at the entry level to mid-level. The individual will be responsible for related tasks associated with accounting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. They will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and will work directly with the Team Lead in managing and resolving complex issues as well as following up on open items for the accounts assigned. Major Responsibilities: • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial statements • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Assist in maintaining and updating accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with IFRS-GAAP and other regulatory requirements • Respond to inquiries from other departments and external parties regarding accounting related matters • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting clerks • Participate in special projects, such as audits, budgeting, and forecasting, as assigned by management Education & Experience: • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance Required • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field Required • Experience with accounting software, such as Oracle, NetSuite or SAP Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Required • Strong attention to detail and accuracy Required • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Required Preferred Attributes: • Internship or academic project experience in accounting or finance Required • Eagerness to grow in a structured finance environment Required • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Required • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Required
