And we are a women-founded and -owned company so our foundation is making GEP a great place to work for women, a place where women can learn, advance and give back. **Are You One of Us** As a Sourcing Lead in the Knowledge Services team you will be responsible for executing complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include: translating business requirements into clear statements of Work, solicits bids, leads auctions. Also you will: - Execute Complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include: translating business requirements into clear statements of Work, solicits bids, leads auctions. - Should prepare negotiation scripts and negotiate with suppliers, makes recommendations, helps on-board, qualifies and contracts with new vendor and ensures compliance - Demonstrated ability to apply and translate business expertise to breakthrough thinking that significantly impacts the clients long-term strategic position, thought leaders. - Manage and optimize functional sourcing support activities while ensuring adherence to clients corporate standards. Provide necessary information input to enablement group - Engage with internal & external business partners to ensure that decisions are based on the broad scope of the organization and achieve optimum daily execution - Manage project allocation, support team members during kick off meeting and share best practices - Monitoring performance satisfaction, ensuring all SLAs accountable for are met and drive continuous improvement initiatives What You Should Bring - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or Engineering or similar - Experience: 5+ years previous work experience, Managing the Strategic Sourcing Process, RFX auctions process , procurement process experience. - Management of indirect categories (MRO, Capex, Real Estate, Facilities, Services, Marketing) - Languages: fluent in Spanish and English --> Portuguese is a plus OTHER SKILLS - Work well in a team setting and able to work without close supervision. - Good organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. - Possess strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills. - Self-starter, sense of urgency, works well under pressure, ability to work in high-velocity environment. - Knowledge of project management and sourcing. - Financial analysis and quantitative skills. - Business acumen: Understanding how markets work. - Change Mgmt. - Skills: Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments. - Negotiation skills includes building eAuction strategies. - Excellent communication – written and verbal. - Familiarity with Microsoft office suites, Outlook, ERP/ P2P systems knowledge (RQ).
