About The Role
Foundation Model
Microbial large models ranging from 1B to 10B parameters, exploring different architectures including Mixture-of-Experts (MoE).

(1) Preferred Background
Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Gastroenterology, Computational Biology, or Computer Science.
(2) Core Technical Skills
Metagenomic data analysis; microbiome statistical modeling; familiarity with deep learning architectures including MoE; multi-omics integration.
(3) Modeling Competency
Ability to develop large-scale microbial foundation models (1B–10B parameters) and apply them to disease screening tasks.
(4) Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cancer screening research or gut microbiome studies; deployment or AI product development experience is a plus.
(5) Personal Traits
Strong interdisciplinary curiosity, translational mindset, and willingness to work at the interface of biology and AI systems engineering.
