About The Role
Foundation Model
BGI has accumulated massive high-precision spatial omics datasets covering diverse tissue types, with standardized data formats. These resources are sufficient to support the construction of spatial omics foundation models for:
Animals (using high-quality human or mouse datasets as input), and
Plants (using high-quality wheat or soybean datasets as input).
Based on the foundation model, virtual organ-specific models—such as virtual skin models, brain models, and aging models—can be further fine-tuned.
