BGI’s comprehensive high-resolution spatial omics datasets support the development of spatial omics foundation models for animal and plant systems. Virtual aging models can be derived via fine-tuning from the base model.

(1) Preferred Background

Gerontology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or AI.

(2) Core Technical Skills

Spatial aging trajectory modeling; biomarker discovery; cross-tissue integration.

(3) Modeling Competency

Experience building aging clocks or disease progression predictors.

(4) Preferred Qualifications

Aging cohort research experience.

(5) Personal Traits

Patient, long-term oriented, and driven by lifespan/healthspan research.
