Job Summary

We are a fast growing company seeking a strategic, hands-on

Logistics Manager

based at our headquarters. You will take complete ownership of our domestic regional supply chain network while managing occasional imports from European markets. The ideal candidate is an expert in Indian freight markets, a skilled rate negotiator, and has a proven track record of optimizing 3PL partnerships to reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

Domestic Network Planning & Optimization

  • Design and optimize pan-India primary and secondary distribution networks.
  • Manage interstate transit challenges, check-post compliances, and E-Way bill regulations.

3PL Management & Domestic Rate Negotiation

  • Source, onboard, and manage regional 3PL partners, transporters, and express carriers.
  • Spearhead aggressive rate negotiations for FTL (Full Truckload) and LTL (Less-than-Truckload).
  • Establish strict SLAs to improve regional delivery performance and reduce damages.

Cost Reduction & Budget Control

  • Audit and optimize overall logistics spend across different Indian zones.
  • Implement freight consolidation and route-optimization strategies to cut unit costs.
  • Track monthly logistics budgets and present cost-saving metrics to executive leadership.

Import Handling (Europe)

  • Oversee occasional import shipments arriving from European suppliers.
  • Coordinate with customs house agents (CHAs) for timely clearance at Indian ports.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian customs, import duties, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

5–8 years in logistics management, ideally within an Indian MSME

Domestic Expertise

Deep understanding of Indian transport lanes, local carrier markets, and 3PL networks.

Negotiation Skills

Proven ability to negotiate competitive freight rates and contract terms.

Import Basics

Working knowledge of handling international shipments, customs clearance, and Incoterms (specifically Europe to India).

Education

Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
