About The Role

Summary: The Maintenance Helper, Fleet cleans and maintains building appearance and delivers pool cars and shifts City vehicles. This is an hourly position that will work a maximum of 29 hours/week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive. -Maintains building appearance. -Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots, sidewalks and driveways. -Performs custodial duties such as cleaning building, sweeping, scrubbing floors and emptying trash. -Delivers City vehicles to outside vendors. -Inspects vehicles in pool and performs minor maintenance such as tire repairs, checking fluids, and fueling. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is not responsible for the supervision of regular City employees.
