About The Role

TYTAN Technologies

At TYTAN , we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect Europe’s sovereignty.

We are looking for a Lead Production Planning & Control to own how TYTAN plans, schedules and controls its manufacturing — from demand to delivery . This is a leadership role within the Operations leadership team, reporting directly to the CMO . You own the full PPC (Production Planning & Control) function: the S&OP interface with Commercial, the Master Production Schedule, capacity planning, order release and shop-floor control, and the material and progress tracking behind it.

On top of the operational mandate you drive the operational excellence agenda — ERP, ISO 9001, production software, and cross-functional improvement programmes — and end-to-end project management for customer deliveries. You take over an established function in the middle of a steep ramp. The plan you build, the discipline you enforce and the systems you mature will determine how fast and how reliably we scale toward high-rate production.

Your Roadmap to Make an Impact

Production Planning & Control

  • Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across all product lines, variants and shifts.
  • Own production control : order release, dispatching, sequencing, progress tracking and back-reporting against plan.
  • Define and enforce planning horizons (frozen / slushy / free) and a disciplined change-control process for plan changes.
  • Own MRP logic, planning parameters and planning master data in the ERP — lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, BOM and routing planning relevance.
  • Drive material availability checks and shortage management with Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics; manage inventory and WIP targets.
  • Run the operational planning rhythm : daily shortage call, production meeting, weekly plan review.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Own the S&OP / SIOP process with the Commercial team — the single link between committed demand and operational capacity.
  • Maintain the strategic multi-year forecast and the 12-month rolling technical plan , and cascade them into short-term detailed plans.
  • Feed capacity and supply reality back into commercial commitments so dates are promised on facts, not hope.

Capacity & Ramp-up Planning

  • Build and maintain the capacity model : labour, workstations, test and integration equipment, bottleneck resources.
  • Plan capacity against the ramp-up profile toward serial rate; surface constraints early and drive resolution with Industrialisation and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Run scenario and what-if planning for demand shifts, new variants and engineering changes.
  • Plan the cut-in points for engineering changes and configuration updates with Engineering and Quality.

Operational Excellence & Programmes

  • Drive the cross-functional programme portfolio for Operations: ERP rollout and development, ISO 9001, production and shop-floor software, digitalisation of planning.
  • Own process architecture, SOPs and standards for planning and control — audit-ready by design.
  • Lead continuous improvement across Operations (lean methods, bottleneck and flow analysis, waste elimination) with measurable results, not initiatives.
  • Provide end-to-end project management for customer deliveries , holding the thread across Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and Engineering.

Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach and grow the planning and excellence team — planners, schedulers and project managers — as volume scales.
  • Own the KPI set: schedule adherence, plan stability, OTD, capacity utilisation, inventory turns, open shortages , and make status, risk and options transparent to the CMO and leadership team.
  • Act as escalation and decision point for planning conflicts between Commercial and Operations.
  • Contribute as a member of the Operations leadership team to the division's strategy and priorities.
