CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) Harford Academy To provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE These items are intended only as examples of the various types of job duties to be performed; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department. Implements occupational therapy services on an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) after completion of an evaluation and development of IFSP by a licensed occupational therapist. Participates in the development and review of Individual Family Service Plans. Collects data for progress monitoring of children’s development and family outcomes on IFSP. Provides family coaching and support to families of children with IFSPs. Collaborates with occupational therapist to conduct authentic assessments to support the development of family outcomes on an IFSP. Completes necessary documents to ensure compliance with COMAR and IDEA as well as Medical Assistance. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. SALARY This is a full-time ten-month position. Salary range based on the FY 2025-2026 HCEA Salary Schedule for Certificated Teachers. Starting Salary: $ 57,797– Maximum Earnings Potential $ 111,648. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland. Experience working with young children.
