M26/27 CUSTODIAN III (Randolph)

Human Resources announces an opening for Custodian III, full-time, 12-months, 2nd shift; Grade M-04 position at Randolph Elementary School. Serves as lead night custodian; Supervises and performs moderate and heavy cleaning tasks in school buildings or certain centers on an assigned shift, usually the evening/night or weekend shift (Wednesday to Sunday, specifics will be discussed during interview). The work involves general custodial duties, maintaining building security at night, opening and locking-up building and being on call to respond to break-ins and emergencies. NOTE regarding work schedule/shift assignment: The work schedule is subject to change, depending upon the needs of APS. Incumbents in this class are hired for the position, not the work schedule or shift assignment. Once hired, an employee may be reassigned to another schedule or shift at the discretion of APS.
