Supervisor Sterile Processing

Supervise daily activities of Sterile Processing technicians and department staff. Ensure proper cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical Instruments and medical supplies. Monitor workflow to ensure timely turnaround of instrumentation for surgical and procedural areas. Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including those from The Joint Commission, AAMI, Infection Prevention. Coach, schedule, and evaluate sterile processing personnel. Conduct quality assurance audits, and monitor sterilization records, and biological testing. Collaborate with the operating room, procedural departments, infection prevention, and supply chain teams to ensure instrument readiness. Troubleshoot equipment issues. Ensure proper documentation of sterilization processes. Participate in policy development, process improvement initiatives.
