Please view our benefits page Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in healthcare *3-4 years' experience Healthcare Field Job Overview: Provides daily oversight and leadership to the case management team by providing orientation, ongoing training, mentoring, and supervising 3-9 team members. Assists with financial management including budget development and financial analysis. Assures regulatory compliance - Bureau of Workers Compensation self-insured renewals and acquisition updates; outcomes tracking; team member service and satisfaction; performance improvement initiatives. Reporting and Metrics as it relates to days saved in returning employees to work, injury trends and costs, with meaningful information/reports to Occupational/Environmental/Safety and Quality teams, other reports as needed. Annual OSHA reporting; Annual Bureau of Labor &Statistics Surveys Reporting; Annual Ohio BWC Reporting. May carry a small caseload as needed. . Job Responsibilities: Manage the day to day operations of the Absence and Leave Case Management department and provides managerial oversight. Ongoing coaching, mentoring, and supervision of the case management team including but not limited to: Performance reviews, hiring, terminations, and all decisions with matter of importance as they pertain to staffing of the department. Development and oversight of ergonomics program. Provides input to and assists in the development of budget preparation, financial analysis, development of action plans for programs to remain fiscally sound and provide growth and contribution to organization. Collaborate with Employee Health and HR Service Center and Leave Team Leaders as needed to ensure team members and managers receive excellent service and that is reflected in satisfaction surveys. Ensures compliance with all Ohio BWC regulations and completes all renewal applications and annual reports of paid compensation. Track injury trends and costs and provide meaningful information/reports to Occupational/Environmental/Safety and Risk departments. Play an active role in the implementation of Safety Initiatives. Track WC and LOA cases and review processes and procedures for areas of improvement. Update processes and procedures as needed, based on review or as required. Maintain Training and compliance with HIPAA privacy requirements regarding the transfer of personal health information in any form as it pertains. Generally, clinical departments hold daily huddles, non-clinical hold weekly huddles. Regularly Round on Team Members, using questions from the rounding log. - 25 or fewer team members = monthly - 26-50 team members = every other month - 51+ (and optional team members) = quarterly Lead monthly team meetings using meeting agenda template; review stoplight report; cascade key leadership messages.
