Position Summary
Under general supervision, performs moderately complex job cost tasks and supports special projects to assist in managing the company’s job cost function. Provides administrative support to project teams, departments, and managers throughout all phases of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring efficient management of cost-related activities.
What You Will Do
- Manage accounts receivable, job cost control, and cash collections for assigned projects.
- Prepare and submit monthly substantiated costs for multiple projects by gathering supporting documentation and submitting them to project teams for approval per contract terms.
- Produce monthly billings based on project team information and assist with schedule of values preparation as needed.
- Adhere to contract billing requirements including preparation of payment applications, lien releases, and other required documentation.
- Review and process documentation from project teams, such as budget forms, cost transfers, and small job closeouts.
- Actively participate in meetings with Job Cost and project teams to ensure alignment and progress.
- Organize and maintain project-related documentation for easy access and reference.
- Assist with audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation.
- Perform public works compliance tasks to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute weekly and monthly Job Cost reports for team review.
- Adheres to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintains a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed.

What You Will Need to be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Construction industry experience is preferred
- Experience with Blue Beam and Smartsheet or similar software
- Experience with accounting software a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Teams, Emphasis: Excel
- 10-key by touch skills
Special Requirements/Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in an office setting with minimal health or safety hazards. Noise level and temperature are moderate. Minimal lifting or climbing. This position is expected to be fully in-person, onsite, with some travel not limited to, other offices, work sites and local business errands. Requires operating office machines such as, but not limited to, computers, copiers, scanners and phones.
