Occupational Therapist/COTA

Regions is hiring an Occupational Therapist/COTA. Occupational Therapy OP orthopedic clinic located at the HealthPartners 401 Specialty Center in the Lymphedema department. Lymphedema certification or prior experience preferred but could provide training/mentoring if needed. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This position uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Three 9 hour days (8 am-5:30 pm) OT Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within 6 months Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience in similar settings/diagnosis. Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position. COTA Required Qualifications: Graduation from a two-year accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program Licensed/registered/certified with Board of Occupational Therapy and Minnesota Department of Health. CPR Certification (Basic Life Support) Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years; Experience in similar settings Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position
