  • Responsibilities and duties
  • 1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
  • 2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
  • 3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
  • 4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery
  • KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)
  • 1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards
  1. Less than 2 years of experience/knowledge in the following domains, with experience in Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing, or Value Engineering:
  • Body Electronics: Body Control Module (BCM), Gateway, Lighting Systems, Wiper Systems, Door Electronics, Power Windows, Power Liftgate, Keyless Entry, HVAC Controls, Occupant Comfort Systems, Wiring Harnesses, Switches, Relays, and Power Distribution.
  • ADAS Systems: Cameras, Radar, LiDAR, Ultrasonic Sensors, Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Domain/Zonal Controllers, ADAS ECUs, Autonomous Driving Compute Platforms, Sensor Fusion, and Active Safety Systems.
  • Infotainment Systems: Head Unit, Cockpit Domain Controller, Instrument Cluster, Central Display, Rear Seat Entertainment, Audio Amplifier, Telematics Control Unit (TCU), Connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/5G), Navigation, HMI, Voice Assistant, and Digital Cockpit Systems.

  1. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies and cost drivers for the following domains:
  • Body Electronics: PCB Assembly (SMT/THT), Plastic Injection Molding, Die Casting, Wiring Harness Manufacturing, Connector Assembly, Overmolding, Ultrasonic Welding, Functional Testing, End-of-Line (EOL) Testing, Environmental Validation, and Manufacturing Costing.
  • ADAS Systems: PCB Assembly, Camera & Sensor Calibration, Optical Module Assembly, Radar Antenna Manufacturing, Precision Assembly, Sensor Housing Manufacturing, Thermal Management, Functional & Calibration Testing, Domain Controller Assembly, and Manufacturing Costing.
  • Infotainment Systems: PCB Assembly (SMT), Display Module Assembly (LCD/OLED/Mini-LED), Touch Panel Lamination, Optical Bonding, Speaker & Audio Module Assembly, Camera Module Assembly, Thermal Management, Final Assembly, Functional Testing, Software Flashing, and Manufacturing Costing.
  • 3.Experience on BOM cost calculation or VAVE from supplier chain, material and manufacturing process
  • 4.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus
  • 5.Bachelor or above degree in mechanical, electronics, industrial engineering or related area
  • 6.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • 7.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit
