About The Role
We are currently hiring a Workers Compensation Consultant to join our team remotely in Ontario, Canada.
Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims across multiple provinces. File new claims within required provincial deadlines and maintain compliance with applicable legislation. Review and assess entitlement decisions; challenge or appeal determinations when appropriate to protect employer interests. Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and case managers to develop safe and effective return-to-work and modified duty programs. Monitor case progress and maintain detailed documentation to ensure timely resolution. Provide strategic advice to employers on premium reduction strategies and claims cost control. Build strong relationships with workers’ compensation boards, medical providers, and internal partners to facilitate fair and efficient outcomes.
2+ years of experience managing or adjudicating workers’ compensation claims (multi-province experience preferred). Post-secondary education in Paralegal studies, Insurance, Human Resources, or Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of WSIB, WCB, and CNESST processes and legislation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,604.76 annually. #LI-CD1
