About The Role

Brief Description: The Drilling Advisor will work to assist Patterson drilling rigs to increase drilling performance. The individual will be focused on real-time support of operations. They will use in-house tools and third-party applications to identify areas needing performance improvement as well as identify areas of best-in-class performance to share lessons learned. The Drilling Advisor will be responsible for clearly communicating internally with various stakeholders as well as communicating externally with customers to identify the areas of non-performance as well as recommendations to improve the drilling performance. The Drilling Advisor will work in the field to understand local conditions and develop working relationships with operations personnel from Patterson as well as customers on the well site and relative third-party field personnel.
