About The Role
The Electronics Engineer III formulates broad knowledge and skills in power electronics across the product portfolio of both standalone DC/DC Electronic Power Conditioners (Isolated/Non-Isolated) and DC electronic components supporting RF products. Leads tasks and projects of moderately complex scope and assists in developing standards and guidelines.
Design AC/DC & DC/DC power supplies and related hardware for RF amplifiers and electronic systems Understand and be able to develop various switch mode voltage convertor topologies including buck, boost, sepic, flyback, half-bridge and full-bridge architectures Develop and implement EMI/EMC compliant designs including EMI filters and shielding Lead proposal generation in response to customer RFIs & RFQs which will include technical summaries, cost assessments, and schedule estimates Support customer visits in support of new business Perform research and analysis for the design and development of new projects without the need for oversight Lead the development of internal design packages and support development of technical reports for both internal and external customers Lead the development of new hardware prototypes to confirm manufacturability and performance levels Test a wide range of electronic boards and devices with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting Provide mentoring to less experienced engineers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Related Field of Study Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance Experience with testing and test equipment for testing electronic boards and devices
