About The Role

Prepares the patient for treatment as directed by the PT/OT/SLP/PTA/COTA (obtaining necessary equipment and supplies, facilitating communication between the patient and the therapist). Ensures patient safety and comfort following a visit (patient call light within reach, bedside table returned, etc.). Prepares treatment areas prior to the visit to ensure the proper equipment and supplies are set-up for therapy treatments. Assists with patient care when two or more people are required for safety, under the direction and supervision of licensed therapist. Cleans treatment areas and equipment following visits.
