About The Role
- Developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR.
- Conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and ensuring privacy by design principles are integrated into projects and systems.
- Providing guidance to business units on data protection requirements and best practices.
- Monitoring and evaluating data protection practices within the organization and recommending improvements.
- Responding to data protection inquiries and assisting with data subject rights requests.
- Preparing and delivering data protection training and awareness programs to employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Data Protection, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in data protection and privacy, with knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Certification in data protection, such as CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager), or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of data protection frameworks and principles, including GDPR.
- Experience conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and implementing privacy by design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
