Echocardiograph Technologist

Under general supervision of the Supervisor & Manager, Diagnostic Imaging and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients. Reviews image data as well as calculation measurements for interpreting provider. Provides other diagnostic testing defined by scope of practice. Ages of patients: Infant to geriatric.
