Technical Services Operations Assistant

Fondren Library at Rice University seeks a Technical Services Operations Assistant. The position’s primary functions are to support the Technical Services Department through preservation activities, purchasing, facilities coordination, and departmental operations. Working under the supervision of the Preservation Librarian, the incumbent performs a variety of tasks related to the preservation of library materials in support of the department's preservation program. The position also serves as the department’s central administrative resource, acting as the primary point of contact while coordinating office operations, communications, and administrative support.
