About The Role

The GAE is responsible of leading Packaging Design Reviews as well as weekly packaging meetings within the running projects. Here, your skill to motivate colleagues to cooperate and solve issues is central and you need to be comfortable driving the meetings and assigning and follow up on tasks to secure progress.

To secure the overall packaging and to support in the design of new solutions, it’s a strong wish to increase the experience and knowledge within the group in doing stack up analyses and tolerance calculations. Except of this we think that you need the following in order to succeed as GAE:

Engine Product knowledge

Very good CAD knowledge and experience in Creo View and Parametric

High level of English, written and spoken

To appreciate structure and have strong communication skills

A university degree in Mechanical engineering or similar Geometrical Architecture in Powertrain Engineering is looking for a new group member. Are you interested in virtual verification, assurance and communicating cross functions? Then you might be who we are looking for.

The Geometrical Architect Engineers (GAE) main task is to verify and secure the virtual builds (DMU), for complete driveline internal Powertrain and towards vehicle installation.

You are involved in our product projects from the early phases until start of production, even thereafter working to secure a high level of trust in the documentation of updates and changes on our existing products.

The product knowledge is a big contributor to your success as GAE since the role is requiring the ability to see the individual components and systems come together to a complete product. A wide network will come natural since the role requires a continuous dialogue and to be able to guide and support Designers and Component Responsible.
