VP of Infrastructure | AI-Driven Technology Company

Build the infrastructure behind an AI-native platform—own, scale, and secure systems that power real-world impact at global scale. We are looking for a VP of Infrastructure to define and own the end-to-end infrastructure strategy of a fast-scaling AI-native platform . This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership across cloud, reliability, DevOps, and platform engineering. VP of Infrastructure - The Role Own the end-to-end infrastructure strategy , ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience across all systems. Lead the design of cloud-native architectures across AWS / GCP / Azure, supporting high-scale distributed workloads. Drive the evolution of CI/CD, release engineering, and deployment systems , enabling fast and safe product delivery. Define and enforce reliability standards including SLOs, incident response, and post-incident learning processes. Oversee platform observability , ensuring full visibility across systems through metrics, logging, and tracing. Lead critical decisions around networking, IAM, security architecture, and disaster recovery design (RTO/RPO) .

VP of Infrastructure - The Profile Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure leadership roles (5+ years preferred). Proven track record in cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) at scale. Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) . Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases, and production-grade system design . Strong background in reliability engineering , including observability, incident management, and operational excellence. Experience leading teams and influencing technical direction at organizational level . Technical Skills Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash (Go is a plus). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, routing, load balancing, TLS, peering). Experience designing IAM models, access control, and least-privilege architectures . Expertise in secrets management, encryption, and secure credential handling . Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems and deployment automation strategies . Experience managing production databases (OLTP focus, plus OLAP/document systems) . Understanding of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and multi-region architectures .
