Competencies and Profile
- Master of Business Administration or similar education
- 2-5 years working experience in the financial area with relevant experience within treasury, capital markets or financial services
- Working experience in advanced financial statement analysis.
- Structured and analytical
- Business-minded and customer oriented.
Technical/Functional/Language Skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Good ability to use different PC tools and good understanding of the financial reporting process at Volvo. Corporate Finance is a function at the Volvo Group Headquarters. The department is focusing on issues relating to strategic financial risk, capital structure and management as well as responsibility for M&A projects. Corporate Finance is looking for a candidate for the position as Strategic Financial Risk Manager.
At Corporate Finance you will be part of a highly skilled team of professionals who work with passion and embrace change to stay ahead. You will be responsible for developing the format and platform to work with strategic financial risks for the group, including building relevant structures for working with other functions such as Treasury, Tax, Legal and Business Control. You will also be responsible for managing all changes to the legal structure or equity of subsidiaries. The position will also be the contact point for the external rating agencies when it comes to reporting or preparing presentations.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic financial risk projects & analysis
- Internal capital structure, capitalization and legal restructuring issues
- Group internal dividend and capitalization plans
- Corporate rating analysis, reporting and follow-up with rating agencies
- Financial risk & planning in relation to M&A activity
