Safety Programs Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator for the City of Grand Junction supports the development and implementation of a city-wide safety program that promotes a strong culture of safety across all departments. This role focuses on OSHA 1910 and 1926 compliance, risk assessments, safety inspections, and the development and delivery of employee safety training and certifications. The position works closely with the Risk Division to identify hazards, recommend improvements, and ensure safe work practices. The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in protecting employees, visitors, and the community while supporting a healthy and productive work environment.
