About The Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations across 3 entities within our group, including a , family office, fund company and mobile game studio.

This is a sole contributor role , ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the full finance function independently in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Handle full-set accounting, including General Ledger (GL) management, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements across 3 entities.
  • Manage payroll operations , including salary processing, CPF submissions, and payslips.
  • Ensure timely submission of management reports and financial reporting deliverables.
  • Handle tax-related matters , including GST, corporate income tax filing , and coordination with tax authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) , local regulations, internal policies, and relevant accounting standards, including FRS 116 lease accounting where applicable.
  • Manage accounting matters for assigned legal entities, including fair value assessment , net book value of investments , group reporting requirements, and MAS reporting requirements where applicable.
  • Review and process payments with proper supporting documentation and approvals.
  • Support statutory compliance matters, including filing of annual returns and working with corporate secretaries where required.
  • Improve and streamline finance workflows and automation processes through technology tools.
  • Work closely with external auditors, corporate secretaries, banks, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting firms, or finance-related roles.
  • Strong experience in full-set accounting and handling multiple entities independently.
  • Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting and tax regulations.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA or automation tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently with strong ownership.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean and fast-moving environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders.
