Your knowledge within design, requirement setting and verification for electrical components such as electrical cooling fans, electrical motors, sensors, actuators, solenoids etc will be crucial for the success of our team deliveries. You have a structured way of working and the ability to plan complex tasks. You are a true team player, self-driven with positive, global and problem solving mind-set and you possess excellent communication skills.

In order to be successful in the role as Electrical Design Engineer Powertrain Installation we believe that you recognize yourself in the following description.

MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Some years of experience from development of electrical hardware components

Experience from working in the automotive industry will be considered an asset

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Who we are

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions for both hardware as well as related software functions in the areas of cooling systems, cooling fans and air cleaners for the Volvo Group truck business worldwide.

The responsibility includes ownership of global technology strategies for our areas, as well as the complete development from advanced engineering to maintenance of parts, systems and functions introduced on Volvo Group trucks around the world.
