The Exhaust After-Treatment Technology groups within Powertrain Engineering are now seeking for engineers to strengthen our different development teams.

At Volvo Group Trucks Technology you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding Powertrain solutions to the Volvo Group. Together with engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric transport technologies that make life less complicated and environment friendly to the society. The scope of work can stretch from early concept development, through industrialization projects to product maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new muffler designs and concepts
• Define, create and document new technical concepts and solutions
• Lead development activities, both internally and with external partners
• Maintain the product throughout the entire life cycle
• Generate new knowledge and continuously improve our ways of working

Desired qualifications

• Master degree in mechanical engineering
• Genuine interest and understanding of the Exhaust After-Treatment technology area and it’s industrial applications
• Knowledge of engine combustion fundamentals and controls
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
