Job Description Summary

• Perform various general labor tasks throughout the facility, including packing, weighing, quality control, and preparing products, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• The role is scheduled to commence in September.
• This is a union role with a starting rate of *$18.47/hr.
• *Rate differential for night shift premium.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Preform General Labor as needed throughout the facility. Including but not limited to the ability to pack at set line speeds, weigh product, provide break relief as needed form boxes.
• Arrange cherries in starch room.
• Responsible for identifying candy not meeting quality standards.
• Feed and catch product, where applicable.
• Demold Almond Royal and Butter Chews.
• Pack bridge mix.
• Responsible for placing moisture desiccant (oxygen absorber) on products.
• Responsible for preparing almond tin and toffee tin.

Qualifications

• Be able to add candy
• Abide by all See’s Employee Safety & GMP rules/guidelines. General knowledge and strict adherence to See’s quality standards.
• Able to identify candy which does not meet quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Stand more than 8 hours, with overtime
• Lift up to 30 pounds, the stock boxes can be 15-20 pounds. It varies type of candy.
• Collecting candy, weighing it in the trays,
• able to work night shift.
