YAP - Youth Lead

Pay Rate: $21/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Youth Program Facilitator. In this role, you will engage and mentor youth through academic and career-focused group sessions, helping them build skills, confidence, and direction for their future.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging group sessions focused on academic success and career exploration
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Encourage student participation, collaboration, and personal growth
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor to youth participants
• Support program planning and assist with activities that align with student development goals
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or in educational/community-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and engage groups effectively
• Passion for youth development, education, and career readiness
• Reliable, organized, and adaptable
