We are currently seeking a Toddler Teacher to join our loving and experienced team at our Plymouth center. In this role, you will lead a classroom of curious and active toddlers, guiding them through essential milestones with patience, positivity, and purpose.
You'll thrive in this role if you have
- EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals
Some requirements of the role include
- Flexibility to work 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for
- Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
- Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based, age-appropriate activities
- Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
- Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime
- Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments
- Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
- Helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence
