About The Role

Adeco Project Engineering has been a specialist in process automation for breweries for 40 years.

Our office is located at the High Tech Park in s-Hertogenbosch. We have around 20 employees working on international projects within the food & beverage industry, such as relocating entire brewery installations to a new location, as well as supplying and installing CO2 and NH3 gas detection systems. Our hardware engineer independently extracts information from the supplied data, sketches, or project documents and gets to work devising and creating a functional design.

This is what you will be doing

You will be involved in the daily conception, design and drawing of electrical installations and will be able to translate the customer's wishes into a functional design. You draw complete control installations for machine controls and process installations, consisting of main and control circuit diagrams, cabinet layouts and connection diagrams. In doing so, you apply various standards, including the Machinery Directive and standard NEN-EN-IEC-60204-1. You will independently extract information from the data, sketches or project documents provided and prepare projects for implementation. In addition, you will check your own drawings and those of your fellow engineers. These activities will take place at our office in 's-Hertogenbosch, but may occasionally take place on site. You will work closely with all disciplines within the company and be involved throughout the entire project.

Work experience

For this position, we require at least 6 years of work experience due to the engineering nature of this role. The food industry requires specific knowledge from hardware engineers in order to devise solutions for automation processes within the brewery.

You can structure data and information and separate main issues from side issues.

Job Requirements

  • -A completed degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • -At least 5 years of experience as a hardware engineer;
  • -Extensive experience with Eplan P8;
  • -Extensive experience in project engineering;
  • -Demonstrable affinity with engineering for the food industry;
  • -Extensive knowledge of standards and safety regulations for electrical installations;
  • -Electrical and mechanical knowledge;
  • -Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Level of education
  • Minimum requirements: BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma / diploma of confirmed professional qualification.
  • HE Diploma / certificate of completion of general secondary education.
  • College degree.
